Zach grew up on the North side of Houston, Texas, and went to Prairie View A&M University and North Carolina A&T University with degrees in Civil Engineering. As he worked as an engineer, he designed roads and underground utilities for the City of Houston and in the private sector. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, cooking, spending time with family, and doing fun things all the time; just enjoying life!

As a kidney transplant survivor, he is a part of the American Kidney Foundation and supports many of their efforts.
